Constituent Services
My office can assist with your requests involving state agencies. And if you aren’t sure if your issue is a state problem, please reach out so that we can direct your question to the appropriate office. Examples include:
Difficulty in obtaining your unemployment benefits
Problems with the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA)
Concerns about roadway conditions or safety
Utility issues involving Pepco or WSSC
Scholarships
Each year, I award scholarship funds to residents of my district. The scholarship is open to residents of Gaithersburg and Rockville who are full-time or part-time students at a community college, undergraduate, or graduate institution located in Maryland. Students who attend school out of state may be eligible if they have a unique major waiver from the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
I offer two types of scholarships: 1) scholarships based on financial need, and 2) scholarships for displaced federal workers and contractors. Learn more about both types of scholarships.
